Colosseum Joy Arena is an outdoor modular fiberglass pump track located in Sector 1, Bucharest. It provides 100% free daily access for BMX bikes, scooters, skateboards, and inline skates.
A Dynamic Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family
A pump track is a continuous circuit of rollers and banked turns designed to generate speed through body movements (“pumping”) rather than pedaling or pushing.
Built from high-density modular fiberglass – a modern, smooth, and much safer alternative to traditional concrete tracks, the pump track offers excellent traction in all seasons and a comfortable ride. It is the ideal outdoor spot where young children can build balance and coordination, while teenagers and adults can practice their riding techniques right at the Colosseum Mall.

Built for speed, pump, and flow, Joy Arena features a geometry that lets you generate continuous momentum without pedaling or pushing off the ground. The fiberglass surface offers an ultra-smooth ride and superior grip compared to rough concrete tracks.

Allowed Equipment on the Joy Arena Track
The track setup is built to handle heavy use across various non-motorized sports equipment:
- Stunt Scooters: Small polyurethane wheels roll effortlessly over the seamless fiberglass surface without road vibrations.
- BMX & Dirt Jump / MTB Bikes: Ideal for mastering pumping mechanics, carrying speed through banked turns, and practicing bunny hops.
- Skateboards & Longboards: Delivers a carving experience with continuous momentum generated without pushing.
- Inline Skates & Roller Skates: Smooth transitions allow skaters to maintain speed through every section.
Safety Rules, Terms of Use & Liability Disclaimer
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, all users and guardians must strictly follow these rules:
- Protective Helmets Are MANDATORY: Access to the track is strictly prohibited without a properly fitted helmet. Additional protective gear (elbow pads, knee pads, and gloves) is strongly recommended.
- Adult Supervision: Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Track Etiquette & Safety: Always adapt your speed to your skill level. Stopping on the riding line or on banked turns is strictly prohibited. Maintain a safe distance from other riders and follow the designated track flow.
- Weather Restrictions: Do not use the track during rain, snow, freezing conditions, or when the surface is wet, as slippery conditions significantly increase the risk of falls.
